This week, the Hobbs Fire Department visited elementary schools across our district to teach students important fire safety lessons and help build lifesaving habits from an early age!

Students learned about fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and the safe use of lithium-ion batteries found in everyday devices like tablets and electric scooters.

🔋 HFD also emphasized the importance of unplugging rechargeable devices once they are fully charged and never leaving them charging unattended.

A big thank you to HFD for investing in our students, sharing these important safety reminders, and helping keep our students & community safe! 🦅❤️
